Incredible experience! This was my birthday dinner and I felt so special. Warm welcome and a beautiful space was just the beginning. Every bite was perfection. I haven’t experienced many tasting menus before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was delightfully surprised at the attention to detail (service and presentation), variety of flavors, and perfect amount of food. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu highlighted ingredients that are in season. Plus the birthday surprises were lovely! Also, for 2 guests (we didn’t opt for upgrades) and 2 cocktails, I felt it was appropriately priced. I already want to go back.

Serious complements to the chef. It is not often that I eat something that makes me feel something, but Chef Orlando’s well balanced flavors brought me back to some very special times. The staff was also very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed getting to know Alyssa. Highly recommend sitting at the chef’s table. Best dinner in Charleston. We will be coming back with friends and family.

From the moment we walked through the doors and were welcomed...we knew we’re in for a wonderful dining experience. We chose to eat at the chef’s counter because we love watching everyone doing what they love...creating! And, every dish that was created for us...we LOVED, and honestly, I don’t know if I had a favorite!!! Everything was amazing!!! Plus, the wine pairings were perfect with each dish! Chef Orlando Pagan and his team are simply amazing! We are already planning another trip to Charleston...just so that we can enjoy more delicious creations from Chef Orlando Pagan!!!

My husband and I were traveling through Georgia and South Carolina for 11 nights, and I can honestly say that Wild Common was the best meal we had. I love the concept of a restaurant where the only option is a prix fixe. We sat at the chef's counter and were able to watch the near-silent, balletic orchestration of the kitchen as they prepared some of the most delicious food I've eaten in recent memory. We didn't opt for any of the menu upgrades and *still* felt as if we ate like royalty. Even items as simple as a single oyster or a slice of sourdough bread were impeccable. I'm still thinking about the scallops and the duck bao as well. The service was exceptional, the ambiance modern and fresh, and the cocktails excellent. I could not recommend Wild Common more highly.

Fantastic meal. Restaurant is worthy of the accolades Beautiful setting. Calming and Zen-like. Love the projected wall art analogous to the ‘Van Gogh Experience’ Service is attentive, friendly and ‘casually intimate.’ Love the vibe Food is a modern and creative fusion where Asia meets the Low Country. Wonderful preparation and attentive plating. Everything excellent, but my favorite was the ‘fruit salad’ (their dessert, and I’m not a dessert guy). For the more ‘mature’ among us, think a semi-melted Good Humor strawberry shortcake bar meets a pint of melted pistachio Ben & Jerry’s - refreshing, creative and oh so yummy! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

What an amazing night! Celebrating my birthday my husband and I went on a Saturday evening. The complimentary parking lot was nice and a short walk away. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Joey was our waiter/Somm and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the dishes and wine with ease and grace. Everything was absolutely delicious. The scallop was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the flavors per course were complimentary yet different in each bite. For two tastings, wine pairing, upgraded Australian Wagu, and three additional cocktails it came to around 400 with gratuity. Very reasonable for the high quality food and extremely nice atmosphere and service. We left full and satisfied with the meal!! Will be back!

10/10 overall. Staff was outstanding, food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect. If you want a well done tasting menu for a reasonable price compared to the rest of Charleston, come here. You won’t be disappointed. Fresh, local ingredients made by people who are friendly and love what they do. When it’s clear they enjoy their craft, it makes the whole experience better. Bravo Wild Common team, I’ll be back.
